Hey all! sorry for the long hiatus, i was in cambodia during the summer break and the internet there was slow at best. So heres wats up w me.

1. I'm starting to do dogs now. During the summer I painted a portrait of my dog sandy and my cousin's dog rocky. dogs are so much more difficult to do than horses!! the head shape and fur textures have me going all-a-tizzy! will be doing short haired dogs for now. Both my dog and my cousin's dog are getting old now so their portraits are keepsakes for us. I watched the movie "marley and me" during the break and bawled my eyes out! I miss my dog!!!:'(

2. I'm doing color pencil now. I will post some of my new color pencil stuff, not as good as some other ppl's work but i'm working on it. color pencil is a really easy medium to learn, doesn't make a mess and tied with pen n ink for my fastest medium to work in. I finished a lot of these pieces in one night?

3. I might be doing betta splendens. I looovvveeee Betta splendens (siamese fighting fish). Personally i like calling them betta splendens as there are many species of betta out there. They are little pieces of living jewerlry. MIGHT get some soon. mebbe i'll do it in color pencil?

4. I've rediscoved my "youth" so to speak. My laptop was down in cambodia for a LONG time so i was stucking watching cartoon network, discovery channel, nat geo and animal planet. I got addicted to ben 10 alien force for the entire summer. anyone else find kevin levin kinda cute? anyway I found SWAT KATS cartoons on youtube and watched all of them in like 2 days. I remember religiously watching them when i was 6. Love them love them love them! they need more cartoons like that nowadays. Ben 10 alien force is alright, but nothing compared to the SWAT KATS!
