My goal is to learn to walk, trot and canter bareback.
I've been riding for 6 years now but haven't really had the opportunity (OR PARENTAL PERMISSON..hehehehe) to ride bareback. I want to ride bareback as it improves posture, hand/leg cue control etc.
Riding bareback makes the rider work harder to stay on the horse without the "safety" of the saddle, thus improving the rider's balance and weight distribution on the horse's back.
I'm 2/3 there, i can walk and trot. Not yet CANTER...not YET!!

cantering is the easy part of bareback riding. If you can trot bareback you can canter bareback! good luck.
